RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Teaching the Word, Living the Way
Our Mission:
The Office of Religious Education strives to develop a strong sense of faith and Catholic identity in the youngest members of our church through young adulthood.
We aspire to cultivate personal relationships for each child with our Lord Jesus Christ. Through these means, each child will become a living missionary disciple of Christ whose character and life are witnesses to His sacred teachings in the Gospels.
Classes We Offer
Note: Registration for First Communion and Confirmation classes is open only during the month June.
Sacramental Preparation
Serving children who have NOT received the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. This is a 2 year program.
Faith Formation
For children in grades 3-6 to continue learning about the Catholic faith, traditions and scripture AFTER receiving the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.
Junior High Ministry
For young teens in grades 7 & 8 dive into examining moral and social issues through a Catholic lens. "J. Crew" events provide a social setting for teens.
Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)
For adults who are not baptized and wish to become Catholic, this process offers a path into the Church through learning, prayer, and community life.
Registration and Enrollment
Registration Period Opens in June 2026
Location: Office of Religious Education
First Communion:
- Two (2) Year Program
- For children ages 6 up to 13 years old (must have basic reading and handwriting skills)
- Required: Copy of Baptismal Certificate
- Material Fee: $125.00 (Payment upon Registration)
- We offer classes in English and Spanish

Confirmation:

- Open to students who will be entering 9th and 12th grade.
- Required: Copies of Baptismal and First Communion Certificates.
- Material Fee: $200.00 (Payment upon Registration)
