The following workshops are meant to further aid parents to build a good foundation for their child’s faith. There are two workshops for parents of First year students and four workshops for parents of Second year students. In addition to the Second year workshops, there will be two retreats for the families in the second year of preparation to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. All workshops will be in Renehan Hall starting at 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. There will be two workshops for families on Home Study which include games and lots of fun. For Home Study workshops, you must call to reserve a spot for your family. Unless it is stated, all workshops are for parents only. For further information, call 252-6950. PARENT INFORMATION Children begin their formal religious education in First grade and continue every year through Tenth grade when they are confirmed. In the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, preparation to receive sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation take two years of preparation and parental involvement.
